Appointments are all face to face

Our physiotherapy appointments are  now all face to face.  On the whole I am not wearing masks however I happy to do so if you would like me to.  We are continuing to hand sanitise and also to clean between patients.

.  Remote and face to face initial physio appointments are approximately 45 minutes long and follow ups are 30 minutes.  Full workstation assessments are around 45-60 minutes.

Regarding PPE/clinic cleaning

I am no longer wearing a mask day to day but am happy to do so if you wish.  We are continuing to hand sanitise.

Between each appointment I will be cleaning the surfaces we use.  Patients will not be seen back to back and there will be a space between each appointment to allow for this.

I hope this answers any questions you may have but please do contact me if there’s anything else you’d like to know.

What to bring and wear for your appointment

We recommend that those who have a lower limb or back problem wear/bring clothes that are comfortable to move in, such as shorts.  If you are coming to physio with a problem that is worse with walking or running it maybe helpful if you bring your trainers/shoes you wear most often.

Don’t worry if you don’t have shorts or forget to bring your trainers though it won’t stop you having a great appointment.

What to expect from your appointments

We aim to provide a friendly and professional service where we work as a team with you to achieve your best outcome.  Our assessments and treatments are aimed at identifying the cause of your aches and pains as quickly as possible and providing effective treatment with long term resolve.

We hope that throughout your time with us you have a clear understanding of your problems and the likely contributing factors, that you are happy with the input we provide and the goals we are working towards.

Following your appointment(s) you will be offered the opportunity to complete a feedback form.  A link will be sent on the bottom of a follow-up email.  Your feedback is really welcome and it shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes.  It’s also anonymous so if you’d like a response please do leave your name.  Many thanks.
