Meet the Physiotherapist
Jemma Mack BSc (Hons) Physio, MCSP HPC
I am a musculoskeletal Chartered Physiotherapist with more than 23 years experience mainly in private practice. Graduating from Southampton University in 1997 I worked in the NHS in Bournemouth until 2000 before moving into private practice in London’s West End and then the City where I worked for Back in Action Physiotherapy.
In 2006, keen to start my own business, I moved to Bristol and opened The Physio Place in North Bristol’s David Lloyd Health Club. From there I went onto open a further two clinics in Henleaze and Lloyds Bank, Harbourside.
In 2012, due to family commitments, I moved to Salisbury and opened a clinic in Belle Vue Road where I now treat patients. In addition to treating patients I also carry out remote and onsite workstation assessments, provide in house Occupational Health physiotherapy services to a local government organisation and work within local businesses providing onsite physio services.
Over the years I have had an amazing opportunity to work in a number of different environments and treat an array of different aches and pain. This experience has all helped to develop my skills in not just treating the pain but also to get to the root of the problem therefore bringing about long term resolve.
I treat backs and necks, sports injuries, pre and post op problems and work related conditions as well as many other aches and pains. I also regularly do gait and running analysis which is particularly helpful for those with mobility issues including runners.
